At Canjoos, we value your community's trust and are committed to protecting your personal information.

Information Collected: We collect your ZIP code, address, email address, mobile number, neighborhood selection, service voting/suggestion preferences, and booking details needed to coordinate neighborhood group buying and fulfill booked services.

Google Authentication: To ensure fair voting and prevent platform misuse, we allow users to authenticate using Google Sign-In. When you log in via Google, we access basic public profile information (such as your name, email address, and profile identifier) solely to verify your account and track your voting and booking activity. We do not access your private Google account files, photos, or contacts.

Payments & Stripe: Canjoos uses Stripe as its payment processor. When you save a payment method at booking, Stripe processes card details. The assigned contractor is the merchant of record for the later service charge; Canjoos stores Stripe identifiers (such as Customer, PaymentMethod, SetupIntent, and Connect account IDs) rather than full card numbers. We share information with Stripe as required to process payments, verify accounts, prevent fraud, and fulfill booked services with assigned contractors.

Data Usage & Sharing: Your data is used to aggregate interest in local home services, operate booking rounds, and fulfill booked work. Contact and service details may be shared with the assigned contractor for a booked job, and with Stripe for payment processing. We do not sell personal information to marketers.

Changes to this Policy: Canjoos is actively evolving. We may update this policy as features change. We encourage you to review it periodically. Your continued use of the platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
